Severe fighting for Bakhmut continues, Ukraine forces hold defence line

Ukrainian troops in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, hold the defence line despite severe pressure from the Russian military.

As UNIAN reports, the announcement came from the speaker of the eastern group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Cherevaty, on the air of the national telethon on March 5.

He noted that in the Bakhmut direction, the losses of the Russian Federation are very high.

The speaker also added that it is possible to deliver ammunition, provisions, and medicines to Ukrainian defenders and take the wounded from there.

Russia continues to advance in five directions of the front in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, namely in Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky, and Shakhtyorsky.
