Clinic director seriously injured in shooting in Kyiv

A shooting in Ukraine’s capital on the morning of September 3 was linked to an attempted assassination of the director of a reproductive medicine clinic, Kyiv police reports.

According to preliminary information, at around 10 a.m. in the Sviatoshynskyi district, a man fired more than 20 shots at the 71-year-old clinic director after he got out of his car.

The victim was hospitalised in serious condition. Police are searching for the attacker, while a special police operation is underway in Kyiv.
