Shopping centre in Ukraine’s Pryluky reportedly hit in strike VIDEO
A strike on an Epicentr shopping centre has been reported in Pryluky in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region, with a dense column of smoke rising over the area, according to preliminary reports.
The facility may have sustained serious damage, although the extent of the damage has not yet been officially established. There was no immediate official information on casualties or other consequences of the reported strike.
Epicentr K is a Ukrainian chain of shopping centres specialising in the retail sale of home-improvement goods, furniture, household chemicals, automotive products, gardening supplies, children's goods and construction materials.
Separately, Ukrainian authorities reported on September 7 that an enterprise in Pryluky had been hit by drones, causing a fire and injuring a local woman. Current official reports did not identify the facility as an Epicentr store.
