Six Russian tourists injured after elevator falls at Phuket hotel photo

Six Russian tourists, including two children, were injured after an elevator fell at the Tuana Hotels Casa Del Sol hotel in Phuket, Thailand.

According to the Telegram channel Mash, the incident occurred when the elevator was travelling from the first to the fifth floor and suddenly dropped, with the cabin stopping below ground level.

Inside the elevator were four adults, a 16-year-old girl, and an 8-year-old girl. All passengers were urgently taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity.

Local authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
