Sky News reveals Ukraine's secret underground drone factory network

Ukraine has established a network of secret underground facilities dedicated to the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with one such site capable of manufacturing more than 200 drones a day, British broadcaster Sky News reports.

The broadcaster, which was granted rare access to one of the facilities, described the factory as a key part of Ukraine's long-range strike drone program. A Sky News correspondent reported that similar underground production sites operate across the country and said the featured facility serves as a central hub for the development and manufacture of long-range attack drones, with production continuing around the clock.

According to the report, the factory produces more than 200 UAVs per day, including FP-1 long-range drones. Sky News said the production capacity could be expanded further if Ukraine receives additional financial support from its Western partners.

Strict security measures were enforced during the visit. The broadcaster reported that its film crew was prohibited from recording the facility's walls or any details that could reveal its location or identify employees, with officials stressing that even minor security breaches could have fatal consequences.
