Skytrax 2025 Awards names AZAL best regional airline in Central Asia, CIS PHOTO

Azerbaijan Airlines, part of AZCON Holding, has once again earned prestigious international acclaim, being named the winner in the “Best Regional Airline in Central Asia and the CIS” category by the renowned British organisation Skytrax during the World Airline Awards 2025.

The award ceremony took place on June 17, 2025, in Paris as part of the high-profile Paris Air Show. The event gathered executives from leading global airlines and top officials from the aviation sector, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijani Airlines. 

“It is a great honor and, at the same time, a significant responsibility for us to once again be recognized by such an internationally respected organization as Skytrax,” said Samir Rzayev, President of CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines.

The official stated that this award further reinforces AZAL’s growing position as a reliable carrier in the region and its international recognition. 

“We remain firmly committed to providing our passengers with safe, high-quality, and innovative services,” he added.  

A reminder that Heydar Aliyev International Airport was awarded with Skytrax World Airport Award for "Best Airport in Central Asia and the CIS," back in April, 2025.
