Slovak National Party slams PM for backing Ukraine’s EU path

The Slovak National Party (SNS) has said it does not understand and does not support Prime Minister Robert Fico’s statements backing Ukraine’s European integration.

SNS leader and Slovak parliament Vice Speaker Andrej Danko made the remarks regarding the issue on his Facebook page.

“I do not understand what Robert Fico told Volodymyr Zelenskyy about Slovakia supporting their accession to the European Union. SNS is, of course, against it,” he commented on the content of a phone call held on May 2 between the Slovak prime minister and the Ukrainian president.
