Slovak PM rules out Ukraine's NATO membership
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has ruled out the possibility of Ukraine’s joining the NATO.
“Ukraine will never join NATO and if you listen to some recent statements by certain politicians, it will also face significant challenges in its efforts to join the EU," the politician noted, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Fico also predicted the outcome of the special military operation for Ukraine, saying that the country will lose a third of its territory.
Earlier, the Slovak prime minister stated that Ukraine's accession to NATO could trigger the start of World War III.
Fico emphasised the importance of avoiding a new "Iron Curtain" between Europe and Russia. He also reassured that his government would continue pursuing a multi-vector foreign policy.
