Snoop Dogg to return as commentator for 2026 Winter Olympics
American rapper Snoop Dogg will return as a commentator for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
The Games are set to begin on February 6 with the Opening Ceremony, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
Following his coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Snoop Dogg will provide a unique perspective for viewers during NBCUniversal’s Winter Olympic primetime broadcast, exploring northern Italy from the vibrant streets of Milan to the breathtaking Dolomites.
Throughout the Games, Snoop will join NBC Olympics host Mike Tirico for the “Snoop’s Greatest Hits” segment, sharing commentary on events, interacting with athletes, and exploring local culture and landmarks. He will also attend competitions and cheer alongside athletes and their families.
“I am excited to be back with my main man Mike Tirico for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement. “The D O double G will be on the scene, and I am looking forward to celebrating with the athletes and their families. The Olympics is the biggest stage in the world and, as everyone knows, I’m all about sports, bringing people together, and unifying while bringing the fun. I’ll be bringing my puffy jackets, snow pants, goggles, skates (and will definitely be iced out).”
