One of the sons of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud caused a tragic car accident in Ankara in which one person died.
According to the Turkish NTV Haber, Mohammad, the president's son committed a serious traffic offense November 30 before hitting the victim, who was riding a motorcycle, with his car.
The victim, a 38-year-old Turkish citizen was driving on Kennedy Avenue towards Zeytinburnu when he slowed down to pull over to the side when the Somali's car collided with him from behind. The motorcycle driver was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but succumbed to them 6 days later.
Turkish press sources report that the second son of the Somali president is currently in police custody in Ankara.
Additionally, he is accused of using a diplomatic service car without the proper authorization as he is not an accredited diplomat in Turkiye.
