Somalia, Ethiopia reach security agreement

Somalia and Ethiopia have signed a security agreement.

The signing ceremony in Addis Ababa was attended by Abdi Hassan Hijar, head of the Somali Police Authority, and his Ethiopian counterpart Damelesh Garbamichel, Anadolu Agency reports citing local media.

The agreement reached extends to police units.

Somalia continues to fight al-Shabaab terrorists, while Ethiopia's armed confrontation has come to an end.
