South African ambassador announces significant final declaration At upcoming BRICS Summit in Kazan

In anticipation of the BRICS summit in Kazan, South African Ambassador to New Delhi, Anil Suklal, announced that a substantial final declaration will be adopted under the Russian presidency.

Speaking during an online conference hosted by the Delhi-based Center for Global Studies, Suklal expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the summit, attributing its potential success to the skilled leadership of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.

The ambassador emphasized that BRICS declarations consistently advocate for the peaceful resolution of global conflicts through dialogue, distinguishing them from the more confrontational rhetoric often found in G7 and G20 communiqués.

“BRICS declarations do not point fingers at anyone,” Suklal remarked, highlighting the group’s commitment to constructive engagement.

Scheduled for October 22 to 24, the Kazan summit will mark a significant milestone as it welcomes new member states, including Egypt, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia, which joined the BRICS alliance on January 1, 2024. The upcoming summit is poised to reinforce the coalition’s role in fostering cooperation and stability in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
