South Korean intelligence flags Kim Jong Un’s daughter as next leader
South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) believes Kim Jong Un’s daughter, Kim Ju Ae, is the likely successor to the North Korean leader, lawmaker Lee Seong-kweun said.
He noted that Kim Ju Ae continues to maintain a prominent presence at events such as Army Day celebrations and visits to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, with signs indicating her involvement in discussions on certain policy decisions, Caliber.Az reports per South Korean media.
According to the lawmaker, the growing visibility of Kim Ju Ae at political events suggests she has entered the “stage of successor designation.”
Earlier, Kim Jong Un attended tests of a large-caliber multiple launch rocket system together with his daughter.
The North Korean leader stated that the missiles are protected from any external interference.
