South Korean president cancels summer vacation

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung will not take a summer vacation this year, a Cheong Wa Dae official said on July 24.

South Korean presidents have traditionally taken their summer breaks in late July or early August. However, Lee will instead focus on what the official described as “sales diplomacy," Caliber.Az reports via Korean media. 

Lee departed on July 24 for an 11-day trip to San Francisco, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Germany, where he is expected to pursue diplomatic and economic engagements.
