SpaceX launches over hundred small satellites into sky VIDEO
American business magnate Elon Musk's SpaceX has sent 114 small satellites into space on a Falcon 9 rocket on January 3, marking its first launch in 2023.
As published on the aerospace company's official Twitter account, Transporter-6 is SpaceX's sixth mission to deliver small satellites into orbit and marks its 200th overall launch. The launch took place from Space Force Station at Cape Canaveral in Florida.
The first stage launch vehicle supporting this mission has previously launched GPS III-3, Turksat 5A, Transporter-2, Intelsat G-33/G-34 and 10 Starlink missions. Following stage separation, Falcon 9 will land on the station.
According to Spaceflight Now, the satellites belong to operators from 23 countries, including EOS Data Analytics.
