Spanish authorities discover remaining bodies in deadly nightclub fire

Five people who were previously missing and feared dead in a nightclub fire in the city of Murcia, Spain, have been located by local authorities.

As reported by the Spanish El Mundo, this raises the death toll from the nightclub fire to 13, with 24 people injured.

Firefighters and police are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire and secure the interior of the building to prevent possible collapse. The fire broke initially broke out in a nightclub but continued to spread to two others that were closeby, yet all the casualties were found in the first location.

The city council has declared three days of mourning in response to the tragedy, which occurred in the early hours of October 1.
