Speaker: Poland aims to become Ukraine’s reconstruction hub PHOTO
Poland plans to position itself as a key hub in the reconstruction of Ukraine, building on its current role as a major logistics centre for arms deliveries to Kyiv.
Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Speaker of the Polish Sejm, made the statement during a press conference ahead of his two-day visit to the Ukrainian capital, Caliber.Az reports per Polish media.

Before the start of meetings, Czarzasty outlined the objectives of his visit, highlighting Poland’s special role in supporting Ukraine.
“Poland currently serves as the hub for 90% of the arms delivered to Ukraine. Why shouldn’t Poland aim to become the centre for Ukraine’s reconstruction?” he asked rhetorically.
He emphasised the importance of planning, noting that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia will eventually come to an end.
Czarzasty also stressed that Warsaw intends to engage in dialogue with Kyiv not only to protect its economic interests but also to address pressing political issues.
“Poland has its own interests, including those related to the exhumation of victims of the Volhynia massacre. These interests must be clearly defined,” he said.
