Spiegel: Art worth several million euros confiscated from sanctioned Russian businessman

German police confiscated an art collection from the yacht of a Russian businessman who is suspected of violating sanctions on May 11.

According to Spiegel, the officials from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) confiscated an expensive art collection from the yacht Luna.

The total value of the confiscated objects is reported to be several million euros. The publication claims that the property belongs to entrepreneur Farhad Akhmedov.

“We are talking about Farhad Akhmedov, originally from Azerbaijan,” the newspaper notes.
