Spokesperson: France to retain full control over its nuclear forces

France has no plans to share its nuclear arsenal with any other country, said Maud Bregeon, Minister Delegate and official government spokesperson, in an interview with radio station RTL.

“At no point will there be any division of our nuclear deterrent forces. These forces will remain French in terms of development, production, and decision-making, which is and will remain the exclusive prerogative of the President of the Republic,” she stated.
