Steam removes Russian language version of games
The Russian language has been removed from the Steam version of the upcoming game My Little Pony: A Maritime Bay Adventure. This was noticed by users of VKontakte, Gazeta reports.
It is reported that the game has lost the Russian audio track and text. The information is confirmed thanks to the SteamDB resource, which allows you to track all the changes carried out on May 5. The sign "Russian language is not supported" has already appeared on the game's Steam pages.
It is assumed that the support of the Russian language can be preserved in physical copies of the game, if the decision to remove localization was made after the "release" of the title from print.
In early March, users noticed that some Microsoft, Rockstar, EA and Activision games began to disappear from the Russian Steam. Users were banned from buying titles such as Sea of Thieves, Halo Infinite, Gears 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2, FIFA 22, Apex Legends and others.
