Street artist Banksy puts screenprints up for sale to help war-hit Ukraine
British artist Banksy has put up a series of stencil prints for sale as part of his continuous artistic endeavor for Ukraine.
The work, which depicts a rat sliding down a cardboard box labeled "fragile", will help raise funds for war-torn Ukraine as it battles Russian aggression.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, Banksy revealed that they are collaborating with the non-profit "Legacy of War", a charity that helps civilians across Ukraine, Lebanon, and Rwanda who are living in dire circumstances posed by war.
"I've made 50 of these screenprints with all proceeds going to our friends in Ukraine", the artist posted.
One copy of Banksy's print will cost approx. £5,000 (over $6,000), with each one numbered and signed by the artist, according to Gazeta.Ru.
According to the Legacy of War foundation, every art piece will be slightly different than the other, as the artist will be "attacking every print with a sharpened pizza cutter."
