Survey indicates that majority of Germans don't support decision of supplying tanks to Ukraine

The decision of the German government to support Ukraine in the war with Russia with "Marten" infantry tanks has not been received well by the majority of its citizens. 

As reported by the Frankfurter Rundfunk, this comes from the result of a survey conducted by the "Insa" social studies center for the German Bild am Sonntag.

According to this, the majority of respondents saw delivery as critical, with 49% rate the decision rather wrong and 40% rather than right.

The delivery of battle tanks, which is currently being debated by the government, was rejected by 50%, with 38% supporting the move.
