Swedish PM sets to visit Türkiye

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson will travel to Turkey on November 8 to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Anadolu informs.
The Swedish government announced that the upcoming meeting will focus on the current bilateral agenda, Anadolu reports.
On October 20, Kristersson sent a letter to President Erdogan, in which he stated that he was ready to visit Ankara to discuss the process of Sweden's accession to NATO.
On June 28, 2022, at the NATO summit in Madrid, a Tripartite Memorandum was signed between Turkey, Finland, and Sweden.
On October 5-6, a delegation of the Ministry of Justice of Sweden held a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Justice of Turkey in Ankara.
