Syria’s Damascus, Aleppo airports suspend activity

Syria's international airports in Damascus and Aleppo suspended activity on December 26.

The information has been confirmed upon the data from the Flightradar24 monitoring website (the flight from Beirut to Amman today is made “overflying” Damascus, which lengthens the flight time by approximately one and a half times; there are no other flights over Syria at the time of publication), Al Jazeera TV channel reports.

The information went viral that an Israeli airstrike against a target in the Sayyidah Zaynab area, south of Damascus was observed. However, there were no reports of attacks on airports.

Syria is expecting new attacks from Israel.
