Syrian, German presidents hold cooperation talks in Berlin PHOTO

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa is on an official visit to Germany, where he held a meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as reported by SANA.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expressed interest in expanding cooperation in various fields.

In addition, the Syrian leader met in Berlin with representatives of the Syrian diaspora. During his speech, he stated that Syria, thanks to its strategic location, can become an important link in energy supply chains.

He also offered investment opportunities in infrastructure and the oil and gas sector.
