Syrian president holds series of meetings at Antalya Diplomacy Forum PHOTO

President of Syria Ahmed al-Sharaa held a series of meetings with senior Turkish and international officials on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the visit, al-Sharaa met Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the head of Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organisation (MİT), İbrahim Kalın, Caliber.Az reports citing the Syrian presidential press service.

The talks were attended by Syria’s Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani and intelligence chief Hussein al-Salama. Discussions focused on regional developments and cooperation in the field of security.

Separately, al-Sharaa held a meeting with US Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Barrack. The talks, also attended by the Syrian delegation, covered recent regional developments and explored ways to strengthen cooperation aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
