Tashkent to host high-level Uzbekistan–Korea energy dialogue
The II International Uzbekistan–Korea Energy Forum, titled “Energy Value Networks Forum,” will take place in Tashkent from June 30 to July 1.
The event is being organised with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan. The initiative was launched by Korea Western Power and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), according to Uzbek media.
The forum is expected to serve as an important international platform for strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in the energy sector.
It will bring together representatives of relevant government bodies from both countries, leaders of major energy companies, international experts, analysts, and investors.
The main goal of the forum is to develop long-term partnerships and formulate new strategic initiatives in the energy sector.
Discussions will focus on the implementation of modern energy technologies, the development of renewable energy sources, improvements in energy efficiency, as well as expanding investment cooperation and launching new joint projects in Uzbekistan.
