Tatarstan president expresses solidarity with Bahrain after Iranian attacks

Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, held a telephone conversation with Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Minnikhanov expressed Tatarstan’s solidarity with Bahrain and condemned Iranian attacks on the country. He also voiced support for measures aimed at protecting the kingdom’s sovereignty, security and national interests.

During the conversation, King Hamad reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to an approach based on wisdom and moderation. He said the kingdom would continue cooperating with Arab, regional and international partners to strengthen stability and security in the Middle East.

The Bahraini monarch also expressed appreciation for the support and solidarity shown by Tatarstan.
