Taylor Swift marries Travis Kelce at star-studded New York ceremony

Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce have married in a high-profile ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York, according to a statement released by Swift's publicist.

The announcement was made on July 3 as giant screens outside the venue displayed the message, "JUST&T MARRIED!" Comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, while Swift's brother Austin served as man of honour and Kelce's brother Jason was best man, CNBS reports.

The couple exchanged vows before a guest list that included Jennifer Lopez, Ed Sheeran, Jimmy Fallon, Hugh Grant and Jason Sudeikis. Hundreds of fans gathered outside the venue hoping to catch a glimpse of the celebrations, which were held under tight security.

The bride and groom wore looks created by Christian Dior and Swift chose jewelry by Cartier, according to the statement. No photos were released.

According to the statement, the couple also donated $26 million to charities in New York and elsewhere ahead of the wedding.

Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023 after the NFL star publicly shared on his podcast that he had unsuccessfully tried to meet the singer following one of her concerts. Their relationship quickly attracted global attention, leading to a public engagement announcement in August 2025.

Swift, a 14-time Grammy Award winner, is one of the world's best-selling artists, while Kelce is a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs and co-host of the popular "New Heights" podcast.
