Tehran says EU must stay out of US-Israeli "aggression" against Iran
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei has warned that EU countries and the “EU3” previously regarded as leading forces in international diplomacy, risk being on the wrong side of history if they support the “aggressive actions” of the US and Israel against Iran.
He made the remarks in a post on X, as per Caliber.Az.
Baghaei said that such support could implicate them in war crimes. “Today, under pressure from German Chancellor, some EU members risk being placed on the wrong side of history by appearing complicit in US/Israel acts of aggression & war crimes against the Iranian nation, one of the world’s oldest and the most enduring civilizational Nation-States."
He urged the European Union to "oppose any move reminiscent of historical Nazi mindsets and instead uphold its commitment to international law and justice."
