Ten injured in massive Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region
Ten people were injured in attacks by Russian forces in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia and Polohiv districts, local authorities said.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said that Russian forces carried out a total of 570 strikes across 39 settlements in the region over the course of a single day. The assaults included 22 air strikes, 345 drone attacks—primarily using FPV drones—7 rocket salvo attacks, and 196 artillery strikes, Caliber.Az reports.
The bombardment caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure, with 104 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and other property.
Fedorov emphasised the ongoing threat to local communities, underscoring the intensity and scale of the attacks in recent days.
