Tens of thousands arrive in Belarus from Europe since start of 2026

Since January 1, 37,893 people from 38 European countries have entered Belarus, the State Border Committee reported to BELTA.

Since the launch of the visa-free regime, over 1.29 million European residents have visited Belarus. The largest numbers came from Lithuania (676,258), Latvia (415,325), and Poland (140,498). In addition, under the extended visa-free regime for 35 European countries, which began on July 19, 2024, 63,981 people have entered Belarus.

The Border Committee reminded that the visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European countries remains valid until December 31, 2026. Detailed information is available on the Border Committee’s official portal and the “Belarus Border” mobile app.
