Tensions rise as Princes William and Harry clash over uneven inheritance
Media reports suggest that the inheritance between Princes William and Harry remains unresolved, causing significant tension between the brothers.
This strain is partly due to disagreements over the distribution of their inheritance, Caliber.Az reports, citing a US online magazine.
The discord has intensified as Prince Harry approaches his fortieth birthday, a milestone that triggers his access to a portion of his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s $90 million trust fund. The trust, established by Queen Elizabeth, who was the mother of Queen Elizabeth II and Harry's great-grandmother, stipulates that Harry will receive approximately $8.5 million before taxes once he turns 40.
This arrangement means Harry will end up with a larger share of the inheritance compared to his older brother, Prince William, due to specific financial provisions within the royal family. As a result, Harry will hold just over half of the total amount allocated to the brothers.
An insider revealed to journalists that Prince William finds it troubling that Harry is set to receive such a substantial sum, feeling that Harry has not earned it and has caused ongoing issues for the royal family since his move to America.
