Tesla CEO calls for US to “liberate Britain from tyrannical government” In social media poll
American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk has raised eyebrows by suggesting that the United States should "liberate the people of Britain from their tyrannical government" following a series of criticisms aimed at prominent UK lawmakers.
In recent days, the American entrepreneur and billionaire, who is also a key advisor to US President-elect Donald Trump, has used social media to express his discontent with the British government, sparking a heated exchange between the Tesla CEO and a UK government official, Caliber.Az reports citing foreign media.
Through a series of posts on the social media platform X, which Musk owns, the tech mogul took aim at the UK’s Labour government. Musk called for Prime Minister Keir Starmer to be removed from office and imprisoned for his role in the prosecution of child grooming gangs and other offenders targeting children.
Musk's criticisms of the UK government culminated in a poll on the X platform, where he posted the idea of “liberating the people of Britain” to his users.
