TezJet aircraft makes emergency landing at Bishkek airport

A passenger aircraft operated by TezJet made a hard landing at Kyrgyzstan's Manas International Airport after a flight from Manas to Bishkek, a representative of the airport told TASS.

“A TezJet aircraft flying from Manas made a hard landing. Representatives of various emergency services are working at the scene. Preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties,” the airport representative said.

According to eyewitnesses, the aircraft tilted onto its side after landing, and passengers were evacuated using an inflatable emergency slide. Fire crews and ambulance teams arrived at the scene shortly afterwards.

Following the incident, Bishkek airport temporarily suspended both arriving and departing flights while emergency services responded to the situation.
