Thirty more Ukrainian children arrive in Azerbaijan for rehabilitation programme PHOTO
A group of 30 Ukrainian children has arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in a rehabilitation and social support programme, according to the country's Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
The children are undergoing rehabilitation at the Gabala Children's Rehabilitation Centre, operated by Azerbaijan's State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise. Upon arrival, each child received a medical and psychological assessment, allowing specialists to develop individualised rehabilitation plans tailored to their needs, Caliber.Az reports.
The programme includes a range of activities designed to support the children's emotional well-being and social integration. These include individual consultations, group therapy sessions, yoga classes, and dance therapy.
Participants also have access to various rehabilitation services, including therapeutic massage, swimming therapy, medicinal baths, and art therapy.
In addition to medical and psychological support, the 10-day programme features cultural and recreational activities such as excursions to historical landmarks and museums, as well as board games, competitions, and other group events.
