Three armoured personnel carriers collide in Romania; 11 soldiers injured PHOTO
In Romania, 11 servicemen were injured following a collision involving three armoured personnel carriers.
According to local agency Realitatea, the incident took place in Sălaj County in the north-west of the country. The vehicles involved were Piranha 5 armoured personnel carriers from a military convoy of the 813th Infantry Battalion.

The Romanian Land Forces said the cause of the accident was failure to maintain a safe distance between the vehicles. Drivers were tested for alcohol, and the results were negative.
The authorities stated that ten of the injured soldiers were transported to the hospital.
Police, medical teams, and firefighters were deployed to the scene. Traffic in the area was temporarily restricted. The military equipment reportedly sustained minor damage.
