At least three people, including a 10-month-old baby, were killed and several others injured when a tree fell in Satrupholm, Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany, according to the newspaper Bild.
The 30-metre tree struck a group of people, killing a 21-year-old woman, her 10-month-old daughter, and a 16-year-old. The baby was airlifted to a hospital in Kiel with life-threatening injuries but later died. The woman and the teenager died at the scene. An 18-year-old girl was hospitalised in Heide with serious injuries, while others sustained minor injuries.
