Three Injured in Iranian Drone Attacks on Nakhchivan Released from Hospital
Three of the civilians injured in Iranian drone strikes on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have been discharged and sent home, Report says.
Medical staff determined that their condition was stable enough for outpatient treatment. One of the victims, Asad Jafarov, remains under hospital care for continued observation.
On March 5, drones launched from Iranian territory targeted sites in Nakhchivan. One struck the terminal building of Nakhchivan International Airport, while another fell near a school in the village of Shakarabad. Four civilians were injured in the airport attack.
Following the incidents, Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilu, was summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. Azerbaijan has stated that it reserves the right to carry out a retaliatory strike.
