Three injured in overnight apartment fire in Israel

Three people were injured after a fire broke out overnight in a residential building in the northern Israeli city of Haifa.

The blaze erupted in the early hours of February 26 in an apartment on Yitzhak Sade Street, located in a multi-storey building, according to emergency services, Caliber.Az reports per Israeli media.

Fire and rescue crews who arrived at the scene managed to bring the flames under control and prevent the fire from spreading further.

Three residents were rescued from the affected apartment and sustained minor injuries. They were transported to hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the fire are under investigation.
