Three people attempted to illegally cross the Iran-Azerbaijan state border on the territory of the “Goytepe” border detachment of the Azerbaijani State Border Service on February 19 at 03:30 (GMT+4).

The offenders, disobeying the border guards' order to stop as a result of a warning shot into the air, fled back to Iranian territory, the State Border Service told Caliber.Az.

As a result of search operations, 15 kilogrammes 600 grammes of marijuana, 30 pieces of ProstaHealth medication and 1,000 pieces of Methadone M-40 tablets were revealed and seized.

The investigative actions are being taken.
