Three women stabbed in Paris knife attack, two critically injured VIDEO

A knife-wielding man stabbed three women in Paris, France, leaving two in critical condition.

The suspected attacker was detained by a police patrol shortly after the assault, Caliber.Az reports, citing Le Figaro.

Video shared on social media by eyewitnesses appeared to show the suspect behaving erratically and looking disoriented at the time of his arrest.

France's Interior Ministry confirmed that all of the victims were women.

France's National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office has taken over supervision of the investigation, which is being conducted by the Paris prosecutor's office.
