Topless Femen activist disrupts event with Hungarian PM in Spain
A topless activist from the Femen group has attempted to disrupt a congress attended by leaders of the "Patriots for Europe" right-wing conservative faction in the European Parliament in Madrid, Spain.
The topless woman stormed into the hotel hall where the event, titled "Make Europe Great Again," was held, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The event featured Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Marine Le Pen, leader of the parliamentary faction of the "National Rally" party. The security personnel quickly escorted the activist out of the room, but not before she managed to draw attention to her protest. At this time, the identity and motives of the activist remain unknown.
On December 13, 2024, topless members of the Femen feminist group damaged a monument outside the United Nations building in Geneva by sawing it with chainsaws. The sculpture, titled "Broken Chair" symbolizes the harm caused by landmines to civilians in conflict zones.
