Tragic avalanche claims lives of two Azerbaijani soldiers in Gadabay district

Two Azerbaijani soldiers, conscripted members of the Azerbaijan Army, who had been caught in a snow avalanche in the Gadabay district, were found dead.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence confirmed the news on March 21 with heavy hearts, as the bodies of the fallen soldiers were recovered after an intensive search operation, per Caliber.Az.

The soldiers, Imanov Ali Tariyel oglu and Hemidov Ruslan Rustam oglu, were caught in the deadly snow slide while making their way back from duty. 

Their bodies were discovered buried beneath the snow after a search effort that involved military personnel, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the State Agency for Roads.
