Four people were killed and 13 others injured after a train collided with a passenger minibus at a railway crossing in Ukraine's Rivne Oblast, emergency authorities said.
The crash occurred in the town of Kvasyliv, according to the regional directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and local police.
Preliminary information indicates that the train struck the minibus, which was operating on the Rivne–Zdolbuniv route, while traveling at full speed. The collision left the vehicle with extensive mechanical damage.
Ukrainian Railways said all of the victims—both those killed and those injured—were passengers traveling aboard the minibus.
Rail traffic on the affected section has been temporarily restricted as emergency services and investigators continue to work at the scene.
