Train travelling from Moscow to Simferopol hit by drone, one killed

A passenger train travelling from Moscow to Simferopol was struck by a Ukrainian drone, leaving the assistant locomotive driver dead and the driver injured, Sergey Aksyonov, the so-called Governor of Crimea, announced.
“As a result of a Ukrainian drone strike on the locomotive of the Moscow–Simferopol passenger train, preliminary reports indicate that the train driver was injured, while the assistant driver was killed. Passengers were not harmed.
I extend my sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. I wish strength and a speedy recovery to the injured. Arrangements are currently being made to transport passengers by bus,” Aksyonov said in a statement.
