Tram collision in Krakow leaves four injured, traffic disrupted

Two trams collided in Krakow between the Szpital Narutowicza and Krowodrza Górka stops early on January 21, resulting in minor injuries to four passengers.

According to Krakow City Transport Joint Stock Company's Facebook page, tram No. 50 collided with another tram that was just beginning its route. The impact was strong enough to require the intervention of emergency services, Caliber.Az reports. 

In response to the accident, bus replacement services have been introduced in the area, and tram traffic is temporarily restricted.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision, with the police leading the inquiry.
