Trees planted in New York to mark Azerbaijan's Independence Day

A tree-planting campaign took place in Brooklyn, New York on the occasion of May 28 - Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

 A "Bur oak" tree, a symbol of America, strength and longevity, has been planted in Leo Fiedler Park, Report informs.

The action was initiated and supported by Azerbaijan's Permanent Mission to the UN, and organized by the Azerbaijan-New York Association.
