TRNC representative calls for enhanced economic ties between Azerbaijan, Northern Cyprus
Economic relations between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus should be bolstered, according to Ufuk Arca Turganer, the head of the Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Representative Office in Azerbaijan.
Turganer shared her thoughts at a recent conference in Baku titled “Labor relations, labor protection, and human resources as one of the main directions of environmental, social, and corporate governance,” Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
In her speech, Turganer highlighted the positive trends in the economic relations between the two countries, noting a marked increase in investment interest from Northern Cyprus.
“The interest of investors from Northern Cyprus to Azerbaijan has increased significantly,” she said, emphasizing the growing cooperation. “A number of measures are being taken to take concrete steps in this direction.”
Turganer stressed the importance of further developing trade relations between the two nations. “It is necessary to develop trade relations between our countries and realize projects that will be useful for both sides,” she added, signalling the potential for mutually beneficial economic initiatives moving forward.
