Trump says ship traffic through Strait of Hormuz resumes

US President Donald Trump has announced the resumption of maritime traffic carrying oil through the Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, he said vessels are now using a southern maritime route, which he described as fully safe and reliable, Caliber.Az reports.

According to him, alternative shipping routes are also available.

“Ships are starting to move, many loaded up with oil, out of the Strait of Hormuz. They are going along the Southern ‘Highway,’ which is totally safe, secure, and pristine. There are other areas of travel, also!!!” he wrote.
